A shoe for a needy child.
Every child deserves a pair of shoe, but for some school-going children in arid and semi-arid areas, slums, and rural parts of Kenya, the journey to school can be a difficult one.
Many parents and guardians in these areas can't afford to provide their children with basic needs such as school shoes and uniforms. This means that children have to walk long distances to school barefooted, exposing them to injuries caused by sharp objects and health risks like jiggers, bilharzia, and skin diseases.
Deserving Children Africa is a program that aims to change this situation by providing shoes to children in need.
By donating shoes to these children, we are creating a future that is brighter and more promising. With a pair of school shoes, a child can sit comfortably in class and enjoy learning, playing and interacting with others, and going to and coming back from school.
